SPARC AI Successfully Launches Geospatial Application to Fly the Parrot ANAFI USA Drone

SPARC AI INC

August 6, 2024 – TheNewswire - Toronto, Canada – SPARC AI INC.  (CSE: SPAI) (OTC: SPAIF) (“SPAI” or the “Company”), is pleased to announce that the Company has created and successfully launched a proprietary SPARC AI application for the Parrot ANAFI USA drone. The app takes full control of the drone’s flight management and navigation systems, and it also houses the SPARC AI proprietary geospatial algorithms and software.

The SPARC AI app is installed on the drone’s controller and allows a user to fully navigate and take geospatial recordings of distant objects. SPARC AI will release a commercial model to allow users to download the SPARC AI app onto their drone’s controller on a SaaS model.

The Company has conducted extensive testing of the drone with remarkable results. These tests have shown that we can determine the location of points of interest without relying on GPS. A video of one of the test flights can be seen here:

The Company is also pleased to announce that it is working to enable the drone to fly autonomously without GPS which could have profound applications in commercial and defence industries. The autonomous flight will be activated via the SPARC AI app on the drone’s controller and sold under a SaaS model. In addition, the SPARC AI microchip installation on the drone will allow the drone to fly completely autonomously with no communication with the controller and rely solely on the AI algorithms and SPARC AI for navigation and decision making.

“Our engineers have demonstrated the portability of the SPARC AI software having successfully installed it on several types of microchips, mobile phones and now on a highly sophisticated drone. Our ability to use a drone to identify the location of any points of interest without relying on GPS, internet or the support of special sensors is a significant milestone for the Company.” said Chief Executive Officer, Anoosh Manzoori.
