Beauce Gold Fields Participates in Inauguration of Promenade des Mines and Unveiling of Séraphin-Bolduc Dredge Vestiges

Montréal, Québec — July 18, 2025 — NewsWall —Champs d’Or en Beauce (Beauce Gold Fields) (TSX Venture : "BGF") participated in the official inauguration of the Promenade des mines and the unveiling of the last vestiges of the Séraphin-Bolduc dredge, held on July 11, 2025. The event, organized by the municipality of Saint-Simon-les-Mines, celebrated the region's mining heritage and revitalization efforts of local historical sites.

As part of its commitment to preserving local heritage, BGF presented the municipality with a symbolic artifact: a two-foot-long iron closed wrench (“spud wrench”), likely used to tighten the hexagonal nuts of the historic dredge. The tool was found on BGF property near the site of former dredging operations. BGF also donated historical documents relating to the operation of the Séraphin-Bolduc dredge, which was in operation in the 1960s and was the largest alluvial gold mine in eastern North America.

Patrick Levasseur, president and CEO of Champs d’Or en Beauce, stated that the municipality's efforts to highlight Saint-Simon-les-Mines' gold heritage align perfectly with their mission. He added that they are proud to contribute to the recognition of this rich past and continue this tradition through exploration and sustainable economic development.
