LAURION Mineral Exploration Advances Ishkōday Project with 3D Magnetotelluric Inversion
Toronto, Ontario — July 29, 2025 — Leads & Copy — LAURION Mineral Exploration Inc. has successfully analyzed and completed a 3D magnetotelluric (MT) inversion over the Ishkōday Project, marking a significant advancement in subsurface imaging and structural modeling. The final 3D MT resistivity model, reaching depths of up to 2.5 km, correlates with known shear zones and fault structures, including the Niish shear zone, and reveals new deep-seated structural features. These structures are crucial for hydrothermal fluid circulation, responsible for mineralized zone formation.
The inversion provides LAURION with a tool to refine its geological model, constrain fault geometries, and identify new deep exploration targets. The results will be integrated with historical data to develop a predictive model of the mineral system, refining the locations and orientations of deep structures. This strengthens LAURION’s strategic targeting and supports its evolution as an advanced, system-scale opportunity.
LAURION’s 7,000-metre drilling program is in progress at the Ishkōday Project. The geoscience team is integrating the 3D MT inversion results alongside its 2D and 3D DCIP datasets to refine structural interpretations and support deeper drill targeting. This enhances the technical team’s ability to vector drilling towards prospective mineralized structures at depth. Assay results from the ongoing program will be released upon validation.
LAURION continues to evaluate potential strategic alternatives and transactional opportunities to maximize shareholder value and is engaged in discussions with U.S. Capital Global Partners. The Board of Directors is attentive to strategic opportunities, including acquisitions and mergers, aligned with LAURION’s long-term objectives. The company will promptly disclose any material developments.
